Kids Count! Join us in raising $10,000 for Save The Children
Kids Count! is Launching a 10-week Initiative That Will:
Raise $10,000 to donate to Save the Children, an organization with a proven record of providing food, comfort, and support to children in the United States and around the world.
Foster connections and cooperation within the communities of Saratoga, Warren and Washington Counties and beyond, while finding new ways to reach out and support the well-being of children around the world.
How will the initiative work?
Kids Count! is matching up volunteers in the community who have a variety of skills, with those who are ready to pay for these skills as donations to Save the Children. These services can vary widely, from computer support, tutoring, resume building and cooking meals, to minor home repair, yard work, dog walking, and grocery shopping.
If you’re a high school or college student, retired or working a full-time job, and want to volunteer your services, we’d like to hear from you.
What’s the goal?
By March 31st, 2025, we’d like to have matched our volunteers with 100 community members who each need $100 worth of their services. 100 people X $100 = $10,000. The $10,000 raised will be donated to Save the Children.
All the funds collected will be directly deposited in a bank account at The Adirondack Trust Company, and the full amount of money — no administrative fees — will be donated by Kids Count! to Save The Children.
This ten-week initiative is scheduled to start on January 15, 2025.
